G Pentatonic Minor Scale 1

Below is a diagram for G pentatonic minor scale. Pentatonic minor scales are very common in blues and rock music. It contains five notes, thus PENTA-tonic scale. G pentatonic minor scale is built with G, Bb, C, D and F. Unlike the chord diagram, you don't (can't) play all the notes at the same time. Practice playing all the notes from the 6th string 3rd fret to the 1st string 6th fret one by one.
